In consideration of high specialization acquired over
many years, TIMAVO & TIVENE group is always a serious and reliable
partner in preparation of fabrics and relative finishing;
as a result TIMAVO & TIVENE's customer list includes then the
most important Italian and foreign names in the field
of outergarments and underwear clothing industries (a
reference list it's available, not exposed on this site).
The production unit of Vazzola is extended over a total
area of 35.000 sqm, 13.000 of which are covered.
TIMAVO&TIVENE's machinery includes all the most advanced plants
available on the market; it is continously updated as
well as the manager's and operator's technical competence.
The total production capacity is more than 20-25 tons/day
of dyeing and finishing, in homogeneous batches from
0 to more than 1200 kg.
An increase in customer service need and in production
segmentation has suggested to the company to make in
the last few years big investments in the field of small
lots and sampling.
The company, always in front line with regard to environment
and safety, is equipped with modern treatment plants,
concerning either waste water or atmospheric emissions.
The ISO14000 environmental certification
is operative.
In years 2005/2006 because of the strong delocalization of markets,
TIMAVO & TIVENE has been restructured, upgrading the productive unit of Vazzola
and centralizing the production.
The headquarters remains in Bollate.

TIMAVO S.p.A. was born in 1959 by the merging of Magenta
and Volontè dyehouses, operating from the beginning
of the century in the field of unshrinking treatment
of wool before, and, after, in the textile finishing
of knitted fabric.
The head office and the production unit of the new company
was in Bollate, near Milano.
In 1968 a new company was created, TIVENE S.p.A., near
Treviso, to assure a faster and most efficient service
to north-east Italy customers, at the beginning only
for the treatment of bleached underwear articles, and
after with the installation of plants for all other
processes. In 1981 TIMAVO acquired the assets of a dyehouse
in Minerbio, near Bologna, to supply the Carpi and Prato
districts.
Finally in 1985 TIMAVO S.p.A. and TIVENE S.p.A. were
merged in a new company, TIMAVO & TIVENE S.p.A., giving
rise to the biggest reality in Italy in the field of
knitted fabrics commission textile finishing
